Simple terms for using Lerf.

Agreement

By downloading or using Lerf, you agree to these Terms of Use and Apple's applicable App Store terms.

Purpose

Lerf provides tools that can temporarily restrict access to apps selected by the user. Lerf is intended to support intentional phone use, but it does not guarantee productivity, improved health, or any particular outcome.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for choosing which apps to block, selecting an appropriate session mode and duration, and ensuring that you retain access to apps or information needed for emergencies, safety, work, travel, authentication, communication, or other important purposes.

Strict Mode

Strict Mode is designed to keep selected apps restricted until the timer ends. Before starting a Strict Mode session, confirm that the selected apps and duration are appropriate for your circumstances.

Availability

Lerf depends on iOS and Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Features may be limited, interrupted, or changed by device settings, operating-system behavior, permissions, or updates outside the developer's control.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse Lerf, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, or use it in violation of law.

Intellectual property

Lerf, its branding, software, design, and original content are owned by the developer or applicable licensors. Apple, iPhone, iOS, App Store, and Screen Time are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lerf is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free performance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use Lerf.

Changes

These terms may be updated as Lerf changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
